Thursday class 17.03.2010 adjectives Sotiri

Adjective endings.

Quick Rules:

 1. Adjectives that are NOT in front of a noun (predicate adjectives) take NO endings;

 2. Endings depend on whether the noun is preceded by a “der” word (der, die, das, dieser, jeder etc.) or an “ein” word (ein, mein, unser, kein etc.);

 3. Adjectives that are unpreceded by a “der” or “ein” word take the same ending that the
definite ARTICLE (der, die, das etc.) WOULD take if there were one (not shown here).
